The NorthWoods Armoire is hand crafted in knotty pine. The 2" top - 2" center divider and the 2" drawer and drawer fronts are made up of solid knotty pine, which are laminated together to ensure stability. The face frame is 1" solid pine. The 3" corner posts and 1 1/2" handles are turned and then, along with the tops, door fronts and drawer fronts are hand draw knifed to give each price its own unique character. The end panels are a 3/4" knotty pine veneer, which ensures stability. The drawer side material is a solid 1/2" wood. The drawer bottoms are 1/4" luan for strength. All the drawer slides are heavy-duty side mount roller bearing slides that are epoxy coated to give years of trouble free use. All joints are glued and screwed together using cabinetry construction. It comes available unfinished or Standard in a clear finish. The bottom two drawers are huge 8 inches top to bottom. The top section behind the doors has two adjustable shelves making it great for sweaters, flannel shirts or blankets. It can also be used for a T.V. and VCR. There is a grommet hole out the back to accomodate electrical cords. The front door opening is 32" high by 28" wide by 16" deep.
